The “Beyond Blockchain Experience in Bangkok 2024” event, hosted by Web3 infrastructure company Seoullabs, concluded successfully on March 26 in Bangkok, Thailand. At the event, Seoullabs and Thai e-sports company PSD officially announced the launch of their joint venture, FOB Lab.
Held under the theme “The Future of Blockchain,” the event featured a series of programs highlighting the evolving blockchain landscape. The event title, Beyond Blockchain Experience, reflected the aim of exploring blockchain’s practical applications beyond hype and speculation.
The event drew more than 1,000 attendees, demonstrating strong local interest in the Web3 industry.
The year 2024 is expected to bring transformative developments such as the approval of Bitcoin spot ETFs, the convergence of blockchain with traditional financial systems, the upcoming Bitcoin halving, and a potential resurgence in DeFi innovation. The conference served as a platform for in-depth discussions on these trends and the future trajectory of blockchain.
A key highlight of the event was the official launch of FOB Lab, a joint venture between Seoullabs and local partners. The move represents a strategic step by Seoullabs to expand into the ASEAN market. Through this new entity, Seoullabs aims to deliver innovative blockchain-based solutions in Thailand, with a focus on data protection and security.
A representative from FOB Lab stated, “Thailand is a strategic hub in the ASEAN region with a high level of IT capabilities. Building on the country's dynamic market and open culture, we aim to usher in a new era of blockchain innovation. While blockchain is still in its early stages, we are ready to lead transformative changes across Thailand and the broader ASEAN region through bold innovation.”
FOB Lab and Seoullabs plan to use their presence in Thailand as a springboard for broader expansion across Asia. Their business focus will include high-growth sectors such as digital transformation and e-sports, as well as collaboration with enterprises and governments preparing for a blockchain-driven future.
